- Radio Wave joined The Mayor Councillor Robert Wynn in It's a Knockout at Fylde Rugby Club on Sunday 12th August. The event was all for their shared annual charity to raise money for the Childrens MRI Scanner appeal at Victoria Hospital. The day was a massive success which raised over 20,000 towards the appeal. 18 Teams competed in total in two groups of 9. Our team came joint 5th in our group which successfully secured us a triumphant place above our Media Rivals for the day!! The event was full of laughter, foam, healthy rivalary (at times) and general chaos!!
