Blackpool man wanted on prison recall

POLICE are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a Blackpool man who is wanted on prison recall.

Liam Clegg, 22, formally of Eaves Street, in the town was sentenced to 34 months in prison back in March 2011 for burglary.

 

He was released from HMP (prison) in (date) 2012 but has since breached the terms of his licence and has been recalled to prison.

 

Detective Inspector Rebecca Smith from Blackpool CID said: "We believe he is likely to still in the Blackpool or Fylde area and I would ask the public to be vigilant and report any sightings of Liam Clegg to the police.

 

"As a force we have a high success rate of returning people to prison and use all methods to catch these people and to return them to serve the remainder of their sentence.”

 

Clegg is 5ft 9inches tall, slim build with brown eyes and short light brown hair.

 

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Clegg should call Lancashire Police on 101.
