Bus diversions during Elton gig

The Promenade will be closed between Cocker Street & and Central Pier; Bus services will be diverted from start of service throughout the day and evening. Southbound diversions from start of service

Promenade Closure Saturday 16th June - Elton John Concert

The trams will run Starr Gate to Tower....and between North Pier and Fleetwood to maintain the service.

Service 1 will operate normal route to Pleasant Street (Claremont Hotel) then divert via Dickson Road, Springfield Road, Larkhill Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Road, Reads Avenue, Central Drive, Rigby Road, to Lytham Road and normal route.

Services 3, 4 & 15 will continue along Dickson Road to Springfield Road then via Larkhill Street, Talbot Road to Abingdon Street and then normal route.

Services 5, 7, 10*, 11*, 14 & 17 will operate normal route to/from Market Street, then via Corporation Street, Talbot Road, Dickson Road, Springfield Road, Larkhill Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Road, Reads Avenue, Central Drive, then normal route.

*Service 10 & 11 will continue along Central Drive to Rigby Road, Lytham Road and then normal route.

 

Northbound diversions from start of service

Service 1 from Starr Gate normal route to Central Pier, then via Chapel St, Central Drive, full length of Albert Road to Regent Road, Cookson Street, Talbot Road, Dickson Road to Pleasant Street (side of Claremont Hotel) to the Promenade and normal route.

Services 5, 7, 14 & 17 will operate normal route to Central Drive, then via Albert Road, Regent Road, Cookson Street, Talbot Road, Clifton Street and normal route. 

 

Services 10 & 11 normal route to Lytham Road then via Tyldesley Road, Rigby Road, Central Drive, Albert Road, Regent Road, Cookson Street, Talbot Road, Clifton St/Market Street and normal route.

Services 2/2C & 20 will not be serving Corporation Street or Home Bargains, and will both use a temporary stop sited within Talbot Road Bus Station.
