A 24 year old man has made his first court appearance charged with murder.

A 24 year old man has made his first court appearance charged with murder.
Mark Ball of Buchanan Street Blackpool,Lancashire was remanded in custody by Blackpool Magistrates and will next appear in the dock at Preston Crown Court on Thurday ( Oct 18).
Ball had a one minute hearing today before the resort's magistrates.
He was dressed in a blue anorak and spoke only to confirm his name ,age and address.
Ball is accused of stabbing 41-year-old Marc Davis to death in Alexandra Road,Blackpool in the early hours on Sunday morning following an alleged dispute in a flat.
A 53 year old woman has been released on police bail for the next six weeks.
A 22 year old man and a 19 year old woman who were also arrested have been released without charge..
