Police appeal following road traffic collision in Poulton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Poulton.

The incident happened on Wednesday 17th October at around 5:00pm on Garstang Road East close to the cemetery.

A yellow motorbike has been involved in a collision with a black mini. Both vehicles were travelling east, away from Poulton.

The rider of the bike, a 25 year old man suffered a broken pelvis and was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. The driver of the car and a passenger received minor injuries.

PC Matt Harmer from the Road Policing Unit said, "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed what happened to come forward and contact police.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Fleetwood Police on 101.
