A man accused of being a sexual predator towards boys has today made repeated denials to a court.
Jay Stewart insisted he never had sexual contact with any of the four males who have made allegations against him.
The fifty four year old also told a Preston Crown Court jury he is not a homosexual.
Stewart of Bibby Drive, Staining denies a total of thirty six alleged sexual offences, including rape. He and another man on trial, Adam Patfield, aged twenty three, of Enfield Road, Blackpool deny a charge of intimdation. It is the only charge the second defendant faces.
As Stewart began giving his evidence today (Fri), his barrister Mr Jacob Dyer asked him "You have been accused of a number of sexual offences in this case against four complainants. Have you had any sexual contact with any of them".
Mr Dyer then named each of the complainants and each time the defendant replied "No".
His barrister then asked him "So far as your sexuality is concerned, do you have any interest in young boys and are you a homosexual?" Stewart responded "No".
The prosecution in the trial have claimed that Stewart was a sexual predator who targeted four boys over a fourteen year period. He denied this.
He and Patfield are accused of threatening one by saying he and his family would be killed if he went to the police. The defendant also refuted a suggestion that the two defendants had spoken of having killed people and buried their bodies at Beacon Fell.
The trial continues.
