Tributes to "loving Dad"

The family of a St Annes man found dead over the weekend have paid tribute to a "loving Dad"

53 year old Andy Boardman was bludgeoned with an iron bar during an incident on Glen Eldon Road on Saturday. He died of his injuries early on Sunday morning.

Murder squad detectives are contuing to question a man in connection with his death.

Meanwhile his devastated family have told Radio Wave News

"Andy spent the majority of his life in Lytham and worked as a baker in St. Annes. He was recently divorced to Eileen and was a loving dad to Zoe, 25, and Sarah 22. We are saddened by his sudden passing and would like to thank everyone for their support, but ask that we are left to grieve in peace.”

Two other people have been questioned and released without charge.
