Chris Evans originally joined Radio Wave in 2003. This was to be his first taste of commercial radio after previously studying radio production in Merseyside. Starting on the evening show in September it was only a few months till Chris was moved to Drivetime in January 2004.
After a successful 18 months on Drive Chris left Radio Wave to work for a number of other local radio stations in both Lancashire and Yorkshire. Chris returned to Radio Wave in December 2008 and can now be heard hosting Sunday mornings between 8 and 12.
