March Madness At Blackpool Zoo

A mammoth local thank you!

Blackpool Zoo would like to thank local residents for their year-round support by launching March Madness on the first day of the month!

All our local residents living in ALL FY postcode areas, PR3 and PR4 will receive 50% discount on zoo admission throughout March, 2019. PLUS 10% discount in retail and catering outlets and on birthday parties. All you need is proof of your local address!

Now’s your chance to visit Project Elephant Base Camp, Blackpool Zoo’s newest and largest ever investment, to see how our herd of Asian elephants is settling in together. Enjoy the awesome view from the raised walkways over their outdoor enclosure with its pool and beach area, or watch them investigating feeding enrichment inside one of the UK’s largest elephant houses.

Catch up too with all your other favourites and see how much young Makari, the youngest Western Lowland gorilla, has grown since your last visit!

Della Belk, Marketing and PR Manager at Blackpool Zoo, said, “March is a great time of year for our residents to visit. It’s not too busy and the park is springing to life with longer days and warmer weather. There are usually a few babies about, too!

We really appreciate the support of our local visitors during the quieter winter months and this is our way of saying thank you. We’ve held our March Madness initiative for eleven years now and we know it’s very popular with the residents of Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. We hope to see record numbers this March!”

Blackpool Zoo members will also be able to bring accompanying guests to visit the zoo at the discounted admission prices throughout March Madness.
