Radio Wave's Kids Appeal

Thousands of Blackpool children live below the poverty line as families struggle to put food on the table due to low income or sudden crisis such as redundancy or illness.

Radio Wave and Blackpool Food Bank need your help…

What’s the cause?

Blackpool Food Bank

(Charity number 1129023)

Over 9,000 children in Blackpool live below the poverty line.

Today there are families who are struggling to put food on the table.

People on low income, experiencing a sudden crisis such as redundancy, benefit delay or even an unexpected bill, in the current economic climate, can often go hungry.

Blackpool Food Bank works to provide emergency food to people in crisis.

At Blackpool Food Bank volunteers sort and pack the food into emergency food parcels (typically enough for 3 meals for 3 days and a few essentials) and front-line agencies call on them as need arises for families.

How can you help?
