Fleetwood man jailed after deleting 'crucial evidence'

Barry Carr of Rossall Gate, has been sentenced to 18 weeks in prison

The former Fish & Chip shop owner deleted data from his CCTV hard drive that was crucial to an on-going Police Investigation in which he was suspected of breaching his restraining order by filming his neighbours.

Judge Altham stated:

"Carr had intentionally obstructed Police during their investigation by deleting crucial evidence and that he had showed no remorse during his four day trial at Preston".
