'Get Vocal' and 'Visit Blackpool' become lead sponsors of BFC

Blackpool Football Club have unveiled the strip for 2019/20 this morning

Blackpool Football Club have launched an innovative new deal with the town council.

Visit Blackpool will be on the front of the iconic tangerine shirt of the home kit for the 2019/20 season.

Visit Blackpool is operated by Blackpool Council with the sole aim of bringing in tourists to the resort.

Get Vocal will appear on the away kit.


Get Vocal is a local mental health initiative to get people to talking about their mental issues.

Errea will stay on as the kit manufacturer.

Michael Bolingbroke, Executive Chairman of Blackpool FC, said

"I am extremely excited about this partnership and the oppertunities it presents. This is a ground breaking moment that brings Blackpool Football Club right back to the heart of its town and community.

"We have a social responsibility to support the area, its business, attractions and people, as well as market the town to a wider audience."

Cllr. Gillian Campbell, Deputy Leader of Blackpool Council said

"All of us at Blackpool Council are delighted to be able to partner with the football club to market the town and to promote sport as a vital part in tackling the physical and mental health issues that are so prevalent in Blackpool, as they are across the UK. 

"Blackpool Football Club is a really important part of community life and this innovative partnership, has the potential to rebuild civic pride in Blackpool as a town, and as a football club, and to celebrate our unique heritage as the birthplace of popular tourism."
