The Government has issued the following list
The Prime Minister says the coronavirus outbreak is a "moment of national emergency".
Boris Johnson's announced strict new measures - limiting when we can leave our homes.
We're being told to stay inside unless we're buying food or medicine, going to or from essential work, doing one form of daily exercise, or caring for a vulnerable person.
Public gatherings of more than 2 people have been banend and public services such as weddings and christenings, cancelled, although funerals are exempt.
Here is the government's list of retailers which are excluded from the order to close:
- Supermarkets and other food shops
- health shops
- pharmacies including non-dispensing pharmacies
- petrol stations
- bicycle shops
- home and hardware shops
- laundrettes and dry cleaners
- car rentals
- pet shops
- corner shops
- post offices
