Police looking for this man following assault in Blackpool

The incident happened at The Corner House Pub on Sherbourne Road

Police want to speak to 23-year-old Cameron Couper from Whitworth, Rossendale in connection with an assault at The Corner House pub, in Sherbourne Road, Blackpool.

An initial altercation is thought to have taken place at around 9pm on Sunday February 16th after which a group of males left the premises. A short time later it is alleged that the same group returned to the pub and assaulted a 24-year-old man.

Couper, who also has links to Bacup, is believed to be currently staying in the Blackpool area.

He is described as 5ft 7 in tall, of slim build, with blonde hair usually worn in a top knot, but this has potentially been recently cut off.

DC Adam Weaver from Lancashire Police said:

“We are appealing to the local community and members of the public to assist with providing information as to the whereabouts of Cameron Couper. He is believed to have links with Blackpool and the East Lancashire area. Any information relating to him or his current whereabouts would be gratefully received.”  

Anyone who has any information about Couper’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 or email 3984@lancashire.pnn.police.uk quoting log number 1521 of February 16th.

Two men aged 24 and 28 from Blackpool and a 23-year-old man from Whitworth have been arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation.
