Mel B finally confirmed they are in talks with bosses Michael and Emily Eavis to headline the festival.
It comes after months of speculation that the girls would grace the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm, following their highly anticipated reunion.
Scary Spice said: “Glastonbury. It’s been talked about. But we’re so pop and it’s so cool — that’ll be funny to me.
And the timing for Glastonbury could not be more of a perfect fit in the Nineties group’s schedule next year, with their 23-date UK stadium tour running between May 27 and June 15. They’d have plenty of time to rest up after the tour before getting their wellies out for Glasto, which runs between 26 and 30 June.
And while Victoria did make a surprise appearance on the sidelines at Glasto last year it’s unlikely she’d head back again.
The fashion designer became embroiled in a huge row with husband David after he left her alone before ED Sheeran’s performance.
Despite the festival being in their sights, the girls are busy focusing on getting their tour planned for next year.
And now Mel B has confirmed that the shows will include guest slots from other major stars.
Speaking on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast, she added: “I’ve also had an idea which we’ve talked about — getting other people on stage with us.
“Katy Perry has agreed to do it — hopefully Adele will do it.”
I’m sure they won’t have much trouble getting Adele on board after she celebrated the band’s reunion by sharing a snap of herself aged nine in front of a Spice Girls shrine.
And she previously shared her love for the girl group during James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, by belting out a rendition of their debut single Wannabe.
