She was left devastated this week after her partner Frankie Foster was booted off the show and has decided to follow her heart by leaving the villa.

The star confided in close pal Dani Dyer as she deliberated over the tough decision but in the end chose to leave the competition.

Samira struggled to cope following Frankie's exit after he dramatically lost his place in the competition last week.

She was in tears during last night’s episode where she explained to her fellow islanders that she had finally found a connection with Frankie – only for it to be taken away.

Dani gave Samira some advice and told her to sleep on the decision, with her leaving the show the next day.

In tonight's show she breaks the news to Ellie, Dani and Megan by saying: "So my lovely beautiful girls.

"You guys know that I've had a really tough couple of days here recently and I've been umming and ahhing about leaving.

"I've not had any connection in here with anyone and I had a little taste of that with Frankie and it's gone abruptly and I think I'd always be thinking 'What if.'

"I woke up this morning and I thought 'It's my time to go. I have to do this for me. I've never felt so strong."

She also opened up in the Beach Hut saying: "This decision is so hard. I'm devastated by it.

"But I think that it is the right thing to do. Just follow my heart because I've never done that before I've always taken the back seat and now I need to go for it head on and leave and just go for Frankie.

"I've got to go with my gut feeling. And I'm not saying I'm in love with Frankie or we're going to get married tomorrow but I don't want to waste any time.

"I just want to see him and I know this is the right thing to do."

Samira had a difficult journey in the villa after failing to find love with a number of islanders but finally found happiness with Frankie.

The dancer was left heartbroken after he was voted least popular by viewers last week and was given the boot from the series.

She admitted to wanting to try and enjoy the rest of her experience on the show but that it was too hard being surrounded by loved up couples when her man was nowhere to be seen.

In last night’s show we saw Samira looking at old photos of her and Frankie on her phone and later not being able to sleep.
